CrossFit is a remarkably easy, all inclusive strength and conditioning program that will change your life and how you think about fitness and health. It really is that effective! How does it do this? By showing you the power of functional movements moved at a controlled high intensity, varying constantly so that you never get bored or feel like you are stuck in that 'routine'. We focus not on just the aesthetic appearance, but also on how well you can improve your everyday life through "evidence based" fitness. That means that you will be able to see your results as they are happening and prove to yourself that you are on the right track. Yes, no more rows of confusing machines, no more TV watching on the treadmill, and definitely NO boring routines. No fluff, no stuff, just results lead by real coaches and supported by a group of like minded people.

Typically in our 60 minute group class you will experience a warm up, a strength portion, a WOD, and a cool down. Everything is completely scalable to all fitness levels and there will be no time where you feel like you are not welcome or not prepared for something that is recommended for you to perform. Yes! You will be pushed outside of your comfort zone, because that where the results live! Some of the movements are challenging, and every CrossFit workout will test you. But with that you can trust that you will get a challenging workout no matter you fitness level.

Personal Training & Individual Program Design

Private training is an amazingly effective and efficient way to achieve your individual fitness goals. Your coach will work with you to identify and clarify your fitness goals, assess your movement, and design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimizing your strengths, thereby enabling you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible. Do this one on one with a coach, or on your own during Open Gym, or at your gym!

Nutrition Coaching

At Crossfit Ampersand we believe that exercise is only part of the puzzle. For those looking to lose weight, gain muscle, perform better, or live healthier, the answer lies in what you eat. It might seem simple to choose the right mix of exercise and nutrition, but in fact, it is very difficult without well guided knowledge and support. Our coaches are here to guide you and provide the knowledge and accountability you need on your journey to optimal health. 

Pregnancy & Postpartum Coaching

Pregnant and postpartum athleticism is for every woman who is pregnant or postpartum whether you had your baby 8 weeks ago or 30 years ago. PPA is important for women to help avoid those perceived normal pelvic floor dysfunctions, like leaking, pain, or prolapse. 

PPA coaching can help guide you in learning how to properly move, recruit your pelvic floor, and safely exercise through this new stage of life.

Thrive Bootcamp

Do you want to tone up and get results while having fun? Our bootcamp classes are different every single day and are designed to shape your body while challenging you at your fitness level.

All you have to do is show up and your coach will guide you every step of the way. They will modify any movements you can’t do, while teaching you how to progress towards your individual goals. 

Don’t be nervous, we start with a one on one meeting to help you figure out the best program for you. 

Junior Varsity (8-12)

Our Junior Varsity program will focus on developmentally appropriate movement training for enduring fitness and physical competence rather than chasing after and celebrating short-term gains.

This means that the kids overall fitness will reach the standard of any sport or curriculum that they enroll in later. The program will include a wide range of bodyweight movements as well as weighted exercises with dumbbells, barbells, and medicine balls. Our goal is for them to carry over their fitness into all aspects of play, sport, and even learning in the class rooms. 

Our fitness is broad–we place equal emphasis on speed, strength, agility, flexibility, stamina and balance–and we keep things fun. Kids and teens WANT to come to Ampersand, and it shows!
